Comgem scores with Sporting Index
Sporting Index approached our animation team to develop an animated football game and flash animated menu, having seen previous examples of our work.
Objective
The main objective of this project was to create a football game based on a penalty shoot out.
Implementation
As part of the implementation of this project our animation team took care of story boarding, developing the football characters and animating the game. In addition to this, we also took care of the flash development of the animated menu.
Key Issues
Given the nature of the game the client wanted different celebrations and a variety of different players. But they also wanted the animation to be ‘lifelike’ in its movements. This wasn’t a problem for our animation team, as they watched hours of football matches to ensure the resulting animations moved in a natural manner.
Result
The end result is an impressive animated game that has set the benchmark for future sporting index games, which combines exciting animation with excellent illustrations and fantasic functionality.
