Background
Europe's oldest park home manufacturer, Stately Albion approached Comgem to develop their website having learnt about our website design and content management implementation service.
Objectives
Stately Albion wanted a website that would show off the premium nature of their park homes, but also allow staff at the company to easily and quickly update the website. As part of the new website, Stately Albion wanted a park finder facility, that would allow its website users easily locate the parks where its homes were located.
Implementation
Our website design and web development team helped Stately Albion revive their online activities by:
- Designing a new website that would convey the brands premium image
- Implement the new website design into an enterprise level content management system
- Develop a custom park finder facility divided into regional areas and park types
- Create a rotation control for the homepage that would allow the company to update images shown on the homepage on a regular basis
- Implement a feedback form builder facility that would allow the client to create feedback forms for use within their website
Key Issues
The major issue facility Stately Albion was the fact they wanted complete control over all aspects of their website, but also complete control over the content the different content editors were uploading.
This wasn't a problem for the content management system, as the company could not only easily add specific functionality to different pages, but they also benefited from a comprehensive workflow management facility, in which the manager could approve work prior to going live.
Results Delivered
The new website has made a complete difference to the company, not only does it provide a lot of information about its various homes, but it has also increased the number of enquiries the company is receiving.
Stately Albion have been so impressed with our solution and service, they have asked us to develop a website for their sister company, the Kirklees Light Railway... so watch this space!
